Hey Mighty Florida District!
                I hope you are all ready for an exciting year of service, growth, and thrill!  This year, the Florida District is going beyond borders and breaking limits with an enthusiasm that is redefining the “Key Club Craze.”   All I ask is that you keep it up, but I’m sure that’s no problem because I know of no Key Clubber that is not embedded with a passion and fervor for Key Club.
                This year, Florida has made a commitment to growth, in the name of service, membership, involvement, fellowship, K-Family bonds, and, of course, Key Club.  Make sure that you are part of the growth!  Bring a friend to your Key Club meetings with you and get them excited for service.  Tell your peers about the incredible experiences you have had in Key Club, and encourage them to become new members! 
                As you bring Key Club to your friends, remember to hold your head up high, because you are a servant leader.  You are a strong focused individual.  You are a citizen of the world.  You are the future.  You are a Key Clubber!  You are part of an organization that is mistakable with no other!
                As a member of Florida Key Club this year, you will be participating in our 2008-2009 Governor’s Project.  This project is dedicated to having a positive impact on the environment, improving the community we live in, and improving environmental awareness.  Furthermore, it will improve on our K-Family relationships being that the project requires that any service for the Governor’s Project be accomplished with a K-Family member (such as a Kiwanian or Circle-K member).  So, pick up a K member and go plant some trees!  For more information, please visit the Governor’s Project link on this website.
                After we raise the bar this year with all our enthusiasm and dedication to Key Club, be sure to attend DCON and be part of our end of the year celebration!  The 2009 District Convention is sure to be an explosion of excitement for service.  At this year’s DCON, we will be ‘Key Clubbin’ Around the World.  So, save the date now!  It will take place April 16-19, 2009.  Register before February.  Hope to see you at District Convention!
                This Key Club year is sure to be nothing short of incredible.  Make sure that you and your club are part of it all, and I can promise that it will be your most memorable Key Club year ever.  Take part in all that you can.  Make an effort for you and your club to attend all the events that we have to offer at the Division, Zone, District and International level.  The experience of a lifetime awaits you!
